TAWASCO Gets 5 New Pump To Address Water Scarcity In Jalingo
The Taraba Ministry of Water Management and Aquatic Affairs has purchased 5 new 800 liter/hrpumps for TAWASCO.
The Procured new pumps have so far been installed to address the scarcity of potable water to customers within the Jalingo Metropolis.
According to the Public Relations Officer of TAWASCO, Dauda John the pump has a capacity of producing 800 liters/hr for customers. Hence the increase in water supply experienced in the Metropolis these days.
A team of engineers from the Organization has demonstrated resilience to ensure the installation of the pumps as they are currently working to install the fifth one all in Jalingo.
According to a Statement by the PRO, the Management of TAWASCO appreciates Governor DrAgbu Kefas for his proactive role in addressing water scarcity.
The management calls on the Tarabans, particularly Jalingo residents, to safeguard public infrastructure against vandalism.
