Befitting Government Lodges In Wukari, Takum Named After T.Y Danjuma



 

 Government Lodges in Takum and Wukari has been commissioned following its construction, reconstruction, and remodelling. The buildings will be officially known as TY Danjuma House,

 

This landmark event was carried out by the renowned retired General TY Danjuma from Taraba.

 

Before the renovations, the Government Lodge Wukari, now TY Danjuma House, was in poor condition, consisting of only a single bungalow surrounded by an unkempt environment.

 

In a bid to improve the state, Dr. Agbu Kefas spearheaded the construction of a new one-storey building along with additional structures that feature state-of-the-art facilities, including a conference room and offices.



 

The commissioning took place this Saturday, led by the esteemed General TY Danjuma.

 

The Secretary to the Government of Taraba State, Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps, highlighted the governor's unwavering dedication, which has contributed to the reconstruction and expansion of the lodge.

 

Various dignitaries praised the governor for this significant achievement, noting that it represents the state's image in the area.

 

The importance of the government lodge cannot be overstated, as it provides suitable accommodations for high-ranking government officials from both near and far, allowing the governor to effectively perform his official duties whenever he is in Wukari.
