Abehdah: Karimjo Nation Celebrates Annual Festival, Wants Cabinet Appointment In Taraba


 

Members of the National Karimjo Youth Development Association have embarked on a grand rally as part of celebration of the 2025 Abehdah Festival in the Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State, just as the appeal to GovernorAgbu Kefas, to consider appointing their sons and daughters into his cabinet while assuring of the readiness of the Karimjo nation to give his administration the needed support and cooperation to succeed.

 

Speaking during the rally, the President of the National Karimjo Youth Development Association, Idi Isa Karim, said the purpose of the Rally is to seek their Ancestors to bless the sons and Daughters of the Karimjo nation.

 

According to him, during the rally, the spirit of unity led by their ancestors would unite the entire Karimjoto show love and affection to one another during the festival.

 

The president stressed the need for Karimjo sons and daughters to embrace their culture, as it is their way of life.

 

The President appreciated those who came out enmass to grace the event and encouraged them to maintain the tempo in the interest of promoting the Karimjo culture.

 

Also commenting, the National Secretary of KarimjoYouths Development Association, Alison Adamu, lauded the spirit of unity exhibited during the Rally, which has led to the success of the AbehdahFestival.

 

He urged the Karimjo sons and daughters to celebrate the festival peacefully and to stay away from acts that are inimical to the development of the area.

 

He reminded them that the Karimjo people are well-known to be agrarian, entrepreneurs, and peace-loving, hence the need for them to continue to be one.

 

Alison Adamu appealed to the Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, to consider appointing their sons and daughters into his cabinet while assuring of the readiness of the Karimjo nation to give his administration the needed support and cooperation to succeed.
