TSUBEB DISSOCIATES ITSELF FROM UNAUTHORIZED LABORATORY TEST DEMANDS

The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) wishes to categorically dissociate itself from the alleged demand for compulsory laboratory specimen tests for primary school pupils in the state, as reported by Daily News Nigeria.

TSUBEB was not aware of this development and will not be a party to any policy that imposes unnecessary burdens on parents, teachers, or pupils.

The administration of His Excellency, Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas, is fully committed to providing free, quality, and accessible education for all children in Taraba State. His vision for the education sector focuses on improving infrastructure, ensuring the availability of instructional materials, and enhancing the welfare of both teachers and pupils.

Governor Kefas has demonstrated his dedication to education through several key initiatives, including the provision of free education, school uniforms, and other essential learning materials. Any action that contradicts these objectives is not sanctioned by the government and will not be tolerated.

TSUBEB urges all school heads, teachers, and stakeholders to align with the official policies of the state government and refrain from any activities that may disrupt the education system or cause unnecessary conflicts. We assure the public that appropriate investigations will be carried out, and necessary steps will be taken to prevent such occurrences in the future.

We appreciate the concerns of parents and encourage constructive dialogue to ensure that Taraba State continues on its path to educational excellence.
