Ramadan: Sen. Sani Abubakar Danladi Shares 1,200 Bags of Rice, Hosts Daily Iftar in Jalingo

In the spirit of compassion and community support, Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi, a board member of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) and a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, has distributed 1,200 bags of rice to the Muslim Ummah as Ramadan palliatives in Jalingo.

The rice, a generous gesture from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and facilitated by National Security Adviser Mal. Nuhu Ribadu, was specifically allocated to assist the most vulnerable members of society. 

Among the beneficiaries were people with disabilities, widows, elderly individuals, and youths from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Senator Danladi, known for his commitment to giving back to his community, has also been hosting daily Iftar meals at his residence, providing a place for the less privileged and vulnerable to break their fast. 

This initiative, which began at the start of the holy month, continues to bring comfort and joy to countless individuals and families in the region.

His daily Iftar gatherings have become a cornerstone of community solidarity, allowing him to personally interact with the people, share the blessings of Ramadan, and offer financial support to almajiri children and young people from low-income families.

 These efforts are aimed at ensuring that everyone, regardless of their socio-economic status, can partake in the spiritual essence of the holy month.

The rice distribution, which took place at the C2C event center, was lauded for its smooth and peaceful execution, free from any chaos, rancor, or stampedes.

 For the second consecutive year, Senator Danladi successfully carried out this initiative without incident, further cementing his reputation as a reliable leader dedicated to serving his people.

Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the timely assistance, emphasizing how crucial the rice distribution has been in providing food security for their families during the fasting period. Widows, community leaders, and local residents also commended the senator's selflessness, hailing his actions as a shining example of leadership and empathy.
