New RUWASA Chairman Husseini Mafindi Says Gov Kefas' Vision for Rural Water Revolution Achievable

 

The newly sworn-in Chairman of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) in Taraba State, Prince Aliyu Husseini Mafindi, has pledged to work towards realizing Governor Agbu Kefas' vision of providing affordable and essential water to rural communities across the state.

Mafindi, who was accompanied by family, friends, and political associates, was warmly welcomed by the General Manager of the agency, Mr. Julius. During the meeting, Mr. Julius outlined the agency's key responsibilities, particularly its focus on delivering clean and essential water to rural areas in Taraba.

In his remarks, Mafindi underscored the importance of integrity in public service, quoting Proverbs 20: "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice." He called on the management to be honest and diligent in their duties, as these responsibilities were entrusted to them by God.

Mafindi reiterated Governor Kefas' commitment to providing essential, clean, and affordable water to the people of Taraba State. He expressed confidence that the governor would continue to support initiatives aligned with this vision.

The delegation also visited the palace of the District Head of Jalingo, Alhaji Tukur Abba Tukur, to seek royal blessings for the agency's initiatives and activities.

The royal father said Prince Mafindi's assumption of office as Chairman of RUWASA marks a significant step in the ongoing effort to improve water supply and sanitation services in rural Taraba.

While emphasizing on honesty, transparency, and accountability,  Alhaji Tukur noted that the agency will successfully fulfill its mandate and positively impact the lives of the state's rural communities.
