Sen. Bwacha Returns With Surprise Visits To Political Bigwigs, Hold Meetings
In what could be described as a major appearance in the public space since the 2023 general election, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha returned this festive season, paying surprise visits to old political friends and holding several meetings with associates across Taraba State.
Senator Bwacha, who was the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), started his surprise visit in Wukari and Donga, where he visited Senator Joel Dalami Ikenya, State Minister for Regional Development Alhaji Uba Maigari Ahmadu, Hon. Danji SS, former state lawmaker Capt. Douglas Ndatse, and Chief David Sabo Kente (DSK) at their respective residences.
Upon arrival, Senator Bwacha CON was warmly welcomed by the Hon. Minister for State Regional Development, H.E. Uba Maigari Ahmadu, Hon. Dinkomiya Bilbonga, Member representing Donga State constituency, party stalwarts, and other dignitaries.
During this gesture, Senator Bwacha paid homage to the home of Niya Gideon, an elder statesman, from where he proceeded to the home of Capt. Douglas Ndatse, the former Member representing Donga State constituency.
This fortunate scenario sparked mixed feelings in the hearts of the populace, who were mostly impressed to see the two political technocrats reuniting for the first time after some years of being apart in connection to the 2023 general election.
The visits also included the home of Alh. Bala Propaganda, Mr. Yakubu Adiku, Haj. Amina Sani Naki, the mother of Alh. Idris Sani, the Chief Liaison Officer to the Most Distinguished Senator. Hon. Dinkomiya, Member representing Donga State constituency, Maj. Apaji Ikilama, Alh. Hashimu Abubakar of Akate Ward, Pastor Habila, among others, were all visited.
Senator Emmanuel Bwacha also made a notable visit to HRH Tiibin Ichen Donga Ismailu Maioda Tsenfha, demonstrating his deep respect for traditional institutions and royalty.
The Honorable Minister of State for Regional Development, alongside Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, stated that the visit to the elders of Donga, in the spirit of Christmas and the upcoming New Year, was a show of respect and appreciation for the community's traditions and leadership during this festive season.
