APC Youth Leader, Idris Ayuba Commends Governor Kefas Over Improved Security
A prominent youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, Comrade Idris Ayuba, has praised Governor Agbu Kefas for his administration's progress in securing the state and making significant strides in the education sector.
Ayuba emphasized that the state's ongoing development efforts, particularly in security, education, and infrastructure, are noteworthy and deserving of support.
Speaking on the government's achievements, Ayuba highlighted the noticeable improvements in security, noting that the state government's proactive measures have made Taraba safer.
He also commended the governor's focus on education, which he believes will lead to further growth through 2025. "Any government prioritizing education, security, roads construction, and health will always have my support because my first interest is the development of Taraba State," Ayuba stated.
Despite some challenges, Ayuba, who serves as a member of the opposition, expressed his commitment to seeing Taraba succeed. "We need a paradigm shift. We can do better; we have the potential to succeed. We have no excuse for failure," he said.
Reflecting on the past, Ayuba noted that his previous efforts to engage with the government were met with hostility, leading to witch hunts and incarceration. However, he expressed relief that those dark days were behind him, and he felt vindicated by the eventual turn of events. "I remain grateful for the lessons learned," Ayuba remarked.
Looking forward, the APC youth leader urged Governor Kefas and other state officials to continue prioritizing the welfare of the people of Taraba. "Tarabans need a reliable road network to facilitate farming and other businesses. Let's make progress and change the narrative," he urged. Ayuba also expressed hope that the governor's 2025 plans would be fulfilled, calling his recent speech reassuring.
Ayuba reminded the governor that power is a gift from God, urging leaders to remain accountable to the people. "We have documented dossiers of this government and will hold you accountable when the time is ripe," he said. "It is our hope and prayers that you succeed. God bless Taraba."
