Reps Member, Muri Youths Hail Dr. Mahmud Sanusi's Appointment as MD/CEO of Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority

The Muri Youths have expressed their gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dr. Mahmud Sanusi as the Managing Director/CEO of the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority.

Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida, the Member representing Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, also congratulated Dr. Sanusi, urging him to contribute his best to the nation in his new role.

On Friday evening, Hon. Tafida paid a congratulatory visit to Dr. Sanusi in Yola. He praised Dr. Sanusi's appointment as well-deserved, highlighting his expertise and dedication, and reaffirmed his support in collaborating to achieve the authority's mandate for the benefit of residents in the Benue trough, which spans North Central and North Eastern Nigeria.

Dr. Mahmud Sanusi Mohammed received his appointment letter from Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), through the Permanent Secretary for General Duties at the SGF Office in Abuja.

A group of Muri Youths expressed pride in Dr. Sanusi, the Sarkin Matasan Muri, emphasizing his qualifications to transform the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority. They urged him to serve as a good ambassador for the Muri Emirate by diligently fulfilling his responsibilities for the people benefits.
