Gov Kefas Commends NEDC for Supporting Agriculture in Taraba

Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has praised the North East Development Commission (NEDC) for donating essential farm inputs to enhance agriculture and food security in the state.

The Governor expressed his gratitude during the flag-off of the distribution of farm inputs, including fertilizers, tractors, and rice harvesters, to multipurpose cooperative societies at the Taraba State Transport Commission (TSTC) Workshop in Jalingo. He emphasized the importance of these resources in improving agricultural productivity and food security.

Represented by Deputy Governor Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, Governor Kefas urged beneficiaries to use the provided inputs wisely.

Earlier, Bashir Hamman Joda, the Taraba State Coordinator for NEDC, explained that the commission donated these inputs to support farmers in Taraba and across the North East region.

Saviour Noku, Commissioner for Special Duties, Humanitarian Services, and Regional Development, also thanked the NEDC for its ongoing support and encouraged Tarabans to pray for the commission's continued efforts.
