District Head Commends Gov. Kefas for Building Two Health Centres, Rural Roads in Antere

HRH Ibrahim Isaiah Jando, the district head of Antere in Sardauna Local Government, has commended Governor Agbu Kefas for constructing two community health centres and developing rural roads to link his community.

During a solidarity visit to Hon. Peter George, the Commissioner for Commerce, Trade, and Industry, HRH Ibrahim expressed gratitude not only for the health facilities but also for appointing local leaders, including their own son, to significant positions within the government.

"We assure the governor of our continued prayers and support," he said. However, he also called attention to the pressing water crisis in the district, stating, "Our major problem is now water. With the governor building two hospitals for us, all we need now is water."

The delegation thanked the commissioner for his ongoing support in constructing rural access roads to various villages in Antere. In response, Hon. Peter assured the community of his commitment to further development in Antere and across Taraba State.

He promised that their message regarding the need for potable water would reach the governor, reiterating Governor Kefas's dedication to providing basic necessities for all Tarabans. Hon. Peter expressed appreciation for the elders making the journey from Antere and wished them a safe return home.
