GOV KEFAS TO DUALIZE SECTIONS OF BALI - SERTI - GEMBU ROADS
The Taraba State Government has announced plans to dualize sections of the Bali-Serti-Gembu road after the completion of ongoing rehabilitation work by the federal government.
The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, expressed his commitment to this expansion project during a visit to the Tabon Mambilla, Dr. Audu Shehu Baju in Gembu.
Governor Kefas also took the time to discuss various development projects being undertaken in the state, emphasizing the importance of peace and unity for the successful implementation of these initiatives.
The Governor lauded the Tanbon Mambilla for his leadership qualities in promoting unity among the people of the plateau.
He further highlighted the state's tourism potential and the government's commitment to harnessing it for sustainable development.
Additionally, plans for the arrival of investors from South Africa were mentioned, with the assurance of transformative developments for the people.
In response, Dr. Shehu Baju expressed gratitude for the people-centric projects and assured the Governor of unwavering support.
Furthermore, the Secretary to the Government of the State, Chief GT Kataps, outlined upcoming initiatives such as the introduction of modern brick-making machines and the allocation of tractors to cooperative groups, with traditional rulers serving as guarantors. Chief Kataps also highlighted the successful Gembu Rural Electrification project and its positive impact on the community.
