‘Gov Kefas Working Hard To Complete Abandoned Jalingo Water Reservoir’- TAWASCOMD

 

 

 

The Managing Director of Taraba State Water and Sewerage Corporation, TAWASCO, Engr Musa Buba Siam says contractors are working hard to complete the five Million litres multipurpose water reservoir in Jalingo.

 

He made this known while speaking in an interview with our reporter in his office.

 

Engineer Buba Siam explained that the contractors are putting in more efforts to ensure that the water project is completed before the August dateline given to them by Governor Agbu Kefas elapses.

 

He said at the moment, the water reservoir project is at the stage of installation of mechanical and electrical equipment such as water pumps among others.

 

Engr Siam expressed hope that when the water project is completed, it will improve water supply in the state capital.

It could be recalled that the five million litres water reservoir was started by the state government in 2020 with view to address water scarcity in the state capital.

 

The move was to reposition the water and sanitation sector towards improving access to water and sanitation services.
