Deputy Governor Visits Wounded Soldiers Admitted at the FMC Jalingo
The Deputy Governor of Taraba State, Alhaji AminuAlkali, visited soldiers of the 6 Brigade Jalingo, who were involved in a car accident along Wukari Road.
The accident, which occurred on the Wukari-Jalingoroad, involved a military vehicle carrying officers of the 6 Brigade Jalingo. It was reported that heavy rainfall caused the vehicle to veer off the road and somersault multiple times.
Among the victims are two officers and five soldiers, who sustained various degrees of injuries and fractures ranging from head to neck injuries.
At the time of the visit, two officers who sustained minor injuries had been treated and discharged, while five remain admitted.
Representing the Executive Governor, Dr. AgbuKefas, the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Aminu Alkali, was led by the Commanding Officer of the 6 Brigade Jalingo to assess the condition of the injured soldiers. The Deputy Governor sympathized with the soldiers and pledged the Government's support in providing assistance to the victims.
Meanwhile, the Management of the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo, assured that they will do everything possible to ensure the victims recover fully and return to their posts.
