We Asked Governor Kefas To Build Bus Stops In Jalingo- Tricycle, Motorcycle Riders Union

• Says Government Now Treating Us Better


Tricycle and motorcycle riders in Taraba State has commended Governor Agbu Kefas for giving them a better treatment under his administration.

The State chairman of the Taraba State Branch of the Commercial Tricycle, and Motorcycle Association of Nigeria, TASCOTMAN, Comrade Abdullahi Bello led his members to  Government House Jalingo on a solidarity visit to the administration of Dr Agbu Kefas while also commending him for embarking on developmental projects for the people of Taraba state.

Comrade Abdullahi Bello speaking on behalf of the riders said the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas as the first in the history of Taraba state to listen to their cry and even approved some of their demands by establishing bus stops in some of the strategic locations in the state and many other things for the smooth running of their businesses.
            
 Members of union while holding various placards with inscriptions commending Governor Kefas for constructing bus stops and street lights across Jalingo metropolis.

Receiving the riders, Governor Dr Agbu Kefas represented by his Deputy Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali said the Government will continue to provide the necessities that will make life more meaningful for the people of the state.

The Deputy Governor assured them of the Government's readiness to provide more dividends of democracy to all citizens and solicited the continued support of the public for a greater Taraba state.
                    
Commenting on the restrictions on the movement of tricycles in Jalingo the state capital, the Governor said the Government did not restrict the movement of tricycles to harm any citizen but for a robust security system to protect the people and promised to look into the request to relax the restrictions for more businesses to thrive.

He informed the union members that unity and cooperation must be their watch ward for the Government to provide all the necessities that will help propel the union to greater heights.
                       
Also Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Hon Abubakar Bawa said that the administration of Dr Agbu Kefas will continue to do all that is expected for the people of the state.
