2024 Hajj: Taraba Board Assures Pilgrims Of Adequate Welfare
The Taraba State Pilgrims Welfare Board has assured intending Pilgrims to this year's Pilgrimage of
adequate welfare while in the holy land.
The Assistant Director Information of the Taraba State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Malam Hamza
Baba Muri gave the assurance when he paid a visit to the Central Zone of the state where the 2024
Intending Pilgrims are receiving lectures on Hajj rites.
The two weeks Enlightenment programme which kicked started on Sunday in Mutum-biyu, the
Headquarters of Gassol Local Government Area is organised by the Centre officer of Gassol Local
Government, Ustaz Babasule Aminu.
Addressing the Intending Pilgrims, the State Information officer assured them of the Board's commitment
towards their welfare while in Nigeria as well as Saudi Arabia.
He said the board has already secured their accommodation and concluded arrangements on their
catering services among others.
He therefore called on them to compliment the Board's efforts by being punctual to the "Bita programme
which is one of the prerequisites of Hajj operations.
Addressing the Intending Pilgrims during the programme, the Centre Officer urged them to give maximum
support and cooperation for the Success of the exercise.
While expressing his appreciation to the visiting officer, Ustaz Babasule Aminu said highlight of the
programme will include presentation of the practical aspects of Hajj performance by the ulamas and other
Stakeholders.
