Taraba Traditional Rulers Dialogue Over Curbing Insecurity

The Taraba State Council of Traditional Rulers has called for the need to settle all issues affecting various emirate councils and chiefdoms across the state.

 

The call is made during an emergency security meeting in Jalingo.

 

Chairman of Taraba State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness, Ada Ali, the Aku uka of Wukari expressed belief that the meeting will solve other pressing security issues in the state.

 

He assert his gratitude to all the traditional rulers for honouring the emergency security meeting which according to him is promptly.

 

He added that, governor Agbu Kefas is a true leader that reacts to any issue brought to him

 

The acting permanent secretary, Ministry for Bearaufor Local Government, Tradition and chieftaincy affairs, Benjamin K Baisa in his remarks, stated that the traditional rulers council meeting was the biggest state council of traditional rulers since the coming of the administration of Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State.

 

According to him, the meeting is purposely called to know how to mitigate against insecurity and other social vices in the different Chiefdoms across the state.

 

He further called on the traditional rulers to work together, admonished them that Governor AgbuKefas administration need their support to achieve the five points moving forward agenda the hisadministration.
