Jalingo LG Boss Promise To Build Medical Facility For Nasarawo Community
Residents of Nasarawo community in Mayo Gwoi ward of Jalingo local Government Area of Taraba State have been assured of a befitting medical facility in the area.
The Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Council, Hon Aminu Jauro Hassan gave the assurance when he paid a visit to the community alongside his Council members and other management staff to see ways of assisting the residents.
Hon Aminu Hassan explained that, he has deliberated with his Council members, where they resolved to construct a medical facility in the community on a partnership basis.
He explained that while the residents of the area to provide land, the council built the facility for the community.
He also pledged to repair the non functional boreholes, provide more and rehabilitate the road linking to the mosque near a mini market from the Nasarawo junction.
The Chairman said the council would embark on the project as part of its modest contributions to bring development to the doorsteps of residents of the area by complementing efforts of Governor Agbu Kefas and to seek his intervention where the council cannot afford.
Hon Aminu Hassan called on residents of the area to cohabit peacefully regardless of their differences in the interest of harmonious coexistence for development to thrive.
He also urged the residents to be law abiding and obey constituted authorities and support the Governor Agbu Kefas's led - administration for more dividends of democracy.
Earlier, the councillor representing Mayo-Gwoi ward, Murtala Mairiga said, they were in the area to see areas that need urgent attention of the Government such as and a medical facility.
Hon Murtala Mairiga who expressed happiness over the visit, describing the Chairman as a considerate and level - headed leader who makes promises and fulfils them.
He called on residents of the area to support him to succeed.
In their various comments, a former commissioner of Urban Development, Shuaibu Ataka shaukani, ward head of Nasarawo, Yerima Yusuf Jika, Ward head of Domayo, Umar Adamu Abubakar and another resident of the area, Isa Masa Jalingo, thanked the Chairman for the visit, callibg on the Chairman to construct drainages before grading the road to make it passable in both seasons.
They appealed to the state and the Jalingo local Government Council to provide them with potable water supply, a befitting medical facility, police outpost, school and other life- touching projects.
