Government Set To Announce Danlami Sopiya Boka As New Chief Of Takum

Several credible sources told Taraba Truth and Fact Newspaper, the Takum Local Government is set to announce Barr Danlami Sopiya Boka as the new Chief of Taraba.

Danlami Sopiya Boka is a Lagos based lawyer with a PhD in view who hails from the Chamba Clan of Takum. He IS also a graduate of Harvard University. 

Taraba Truth and Fact Newspaper gathered that Barr Danlami Sopiya Boka is undergoing some ritual rites ahead of his official announcement and public presentation.

His selection follows the official announcement from the Local Government on 28th of January 2024 to commence the process of selection and installation of a new Chief of Takum.

According to a letter signed by Chairman Takum Local Government Hon John Aji all ruling houses were invited and informed of the directive from the state government to select a new Chief of Takum.  

"The local government has concluded the selection and a new Chief has been selected, he will be presented next week to the public in Takum," a local source said.
