Muwanshat College of Health Technology Jalingo Matriculates 400 Students

The third matriculation ceremony at Muwanshat College of Health Technology in Jalingo, Taraba State, marked the enrollment of over 400 students, with both undergraduates and postgraduates being welcomed into the institution. 

During the event, Eng. Abdulmajid Kalid, the Provost of Muwanshat, emphasized the importance of steering clear of cultism and examination malpractice, urging the matriculated students to uphold the highest ethical standards in their academic pursuits.

In attendance was Alhaji Taraba State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dr. Augustina Godwin, who called upon the affluent members of the state to invest in education. 

Represented by the ministry's Permanent Secretary, Idris Goje, the Commissioner's plea echoed the critical need for financial support in the educational sector. 

Additionally, Commissioner for Health, Buma G. Bordiya, voiced Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas's commitment to aiding the college, reaffirming the stance against cultism and exam malpractice.

The significance of the matriculation was further underscored by the Vice Chancellor of Taraba State University, Professor Sunday Bako, who stressed the pivotal role this event played in guiding the students as they embarked on their academic journey. 

Meanwhile, Alhaji Umaru Yola, the college's proprietor, expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor and all dignitaries for gracing the occasion, emphasizing the dire need for continued investment in education. 

Among the matriculants, Amina Abubakar expressed joy and excitement as she officially joined the college community.
