We wish to reject the ruling of the panel which was not only bias but lacks justice, fairness and legal balance.
The Justice cast themselves as enemies at war with the petitioners. Their judgment was unduly hostile, at some point quarrelsome, and lacked balance assessment of the merit of the both parties.
Nigerians are aware of the massive electoral malpractice that took place in the last elections which attracted global condemnation but the judiciary which is supposed to the 'The last hope of the common man' instead of insuring justice prevailed decided to do otherwise.
The challenge now is not whether we win or loose, the only challenge here is that democracy is being suffocated, and we hereby wish to call on the judiciary to please "Let Democracy Breath".
As we await the position of our National Leaders, we wish to call on all Labour Party members and Obedient across our dear state to remain calm and law abiding as our legal team are still reviewing the certify true copy of the judgment, the statement reads.
