Muslims Hold Special Prayers For Gov. Kefas, Deputy On Friday


 


 

The League of Islamic Preachers in Taraba State has called on all Ulma to specially pray for the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas during Friday Jummat Service.

 

Leader of the League of Islamic Preachers Sheikh Ibrahim Abdullahi Sunkani said Islamic Preachers across the sixteen local governments area and all the special developmental areas are going to observe the special prayer, calling on all Muslim Ulmas to participate.

 

Sheikh Sunkani urge all jummat mosques in the state to pray for the peace of the Taraba State in accordance with teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

 

 

Our duty is to pray for our leaders in accordance to the teaching of the Holy Quran, we are praying for the progress of Taraba State; We are praying for the Governor, his Deputy and every member of his cabinet for Allah's guidance and protection.

 

 

"We will pray that their leadership will restore safety, trust, and peace across tribal lines in Taraba.

 

"We pray that Allah in His benevolence grants our leaders the requisite wisdom to administer Taraba in such a way that Tarabans will live happily without fear of molestation or rejection.

 

"We pray for a prosperous Taraba under Governor Agbu Kefas that can only be attained in a peaceful environment.

 

"We pray for increased understanding, tolerance, and accommodation amongst the peoples of all religion and tribes in Taraba State.

 

"We consider these subjects of our prayer as very crucial in the growth of Taraba and so we pray that Allah grants them to us for the good of every Tarabans," Sheikh Sunkani said.
