TARABA FA. ELECTS RE-ELECTS Mahmud SANUSI FOR SECOND TERM






The Taraba State Football Association has re-elected Mahmud Sanusi Muhammed, as chairman of the association, for another four years,
At its elective congress held at the Jalingo Local Government Secretariat, today, other offices of the association were also contested and won on various categories.

While reacting to his victory, the newly elected chairman, Mahmud Sani Muhammed, said the new administration will be an administration of continuity as he is going to replicate what they have done so far in the state.

Muhammed, stated that the past four years he has been in office as the chairman has been challenging with series of battles and litigations but so far he has put a lot on ground to sanitize the system which he believe he has delivered exceptionally.

He pointed that it is evident that a lot of individuals and companies are looking at Taraba to partner with and so he call on the government, business people in and outside the state to see sport as a unifying factor and so partner with them and give their support for them to have a better facility.

Muhammed, assured the delegates from the sixteen Local Government Area of the state of his commitment to taking the Taraba Football Association to a greater heights.

Muhammed, further stated that his emergence as the chairman will be an opportunity for him to bring in foreign partners to run certain programs in the different local government areas of the state, which will yield good results with certain improvements, zeal, encouragement and give hope to the players and to promote football in the state.

Also, the head of Local Government Administration, Muhammad Isa Idda while commenting on the election, acknowledged the associations effort towards presenting people that are ready to make sacrifice for their own.
He urged everyone to put all hands on deck in order to promote particularly the Taraba Football Association to a greater height.
