TRIBUTE TO LATE HONORABLE MEMBER ELECT JALINGO/YORRO/ZING FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY. HON ISMAILA YUSHAU MAIHANCHI (COMMANDER)

Hon. Ismaila Yushau Maihanchi was a man with a heart of gold. He was a true democrat and someone who saw all with a single lens of no sentiment. His dedication to the welfare of the people of Jalingo/Yorro/Zing federal constituency was unparalleled. He was the member-elect in the just concluded National Assembly elections for the constituency in February 2023.

 

Maihanchi was a man of the people who had a passion for empowering the youth. He employed numerous youths and empowered his friends and age brackets in different capacities. He was a philanthropist who alleviated many from the streets of poverty and gave them a livelihood. He was a shining example of what true leadership should be.

 

Maihanchi's dedication to his people was evident in the many development projects he attracted in the constituency. He believed in making a difference in the lives of his people, and that is what he set out to do. He was a man of action who worked tirelessly to ensure that his people had access to basic amenities such as good roads, water, and electricity.

 

It is a great loss to the people of Jalingo/Yorro/Zing federal constituency that Maihanchi lost his life via a brief illness before his inauguration into the 10th assembly. His death was a shock to everyone who knew him. He was a man who had a promising future ahead of him, and his death left a vacuum that would be difficult to fill.

 

Maihanchi was a man of integrity who always put the interest of his people first. He was a man who believed in fairness and justice, and he fought for the rights of his people. He was a true democrat who believed in the rule of law and due process.

 

The legacy of Maihanchi will continue to live on in the hearts of the people who knew him. He was a man who touched many lives and made a difference in his community. His dedication to the welfare of his people will always be remembered.

 

Maihanchi's death is a reminder that life is short and that we should always strive to make a positive impact in the lives of others. He was a man who lived his life serving his people, and his death is a great loss not just to his family, but to the entire constituency, state and federation.

 

The people of Jalingo/Yorro/Zing federal constituency will forever remember Maihanchi as a man who had a heart of gold and who dedicated his life to serving his people. He was a true patriot who believed in the unity and progress of his state and country.

 

Personally, I have lost a member of the House of Representatives of the anticipated 10th assembly, a friend whom I see so much of my reflections and ideologies in, a leader of flocks of the youths in politics, and of course a brother.
