Skill Acquisition: Bobboji Trains 450 Women, Youths in Jalingo



The Bobboji foundation has trained over four hundred and fifty women and Youths of Jalingo Local Government Area in various areas of skill acquisition programmes.

 

The graduation ceremony for the beneficiaries was held at the Low-cost primary school Jalingo and was attended by community leaders, religious leaders and some government officials.

 

The youths and women were trained in various skills including how to make, Shampoo, body cream, relaxer, pomade, soap, and Tailoring.

 

The founder of the foundation and former Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Area who is also the candidate of the People's Democratic Party for Jalingo one state constituency, Hon. Abdulnaseer Bobboji congratulated the beneficiaries and charged them to use the skills acquired to help themselves become self-reliance as well as helping the entire communities.

 

He noted that the Bobboji Foundation has empowered many women and youths  across the various wards of Jalingo local government area.

 

In their remarks, the coordinator of the foundation, Mrs. Rodah and, the project manager, Yasir Abubakar, appreciated the Founder for sacrificing a lot to ensure that the beneficiaries acquire the skills that will improve their living conditions and that of their communities.

 

They described Hon. Abdulnaseer Bobboji as a good leader that has demonstrated love and concern for the people and can be trusted with leadership positions.

 

Other speakers at the graduation ceremony thanked the founder of the Bobboji foundation for the skills acquisition programme and said it will go a long way in keeping the beneficiaries busy and fruitful.
