NUTASS President, Khalid Harun Visits Alheri Orphanage, Donates Food Stuffs

The National Union of Taraba State Students NUTASS under the leadership of Comrade Khalid Haris Harun has paid a courtesy visit to Alheri Orphanage House, with a pledge to support them at all time.

 The Union leader during the visit used the opportunity and shared some food items which include noodles, biscuits among others to members of the orphanage. 

 While interacting with the orphans,  the Students leader urged them to be focused, determine and not to give up in live.

 Khalid also advised them to pay more attention to their studies, see themselves as future leaders and always keep in mind that being in the Orphanage House is just temporary. 

 The National President however assured them of the Union readiness to support them at all the time.

 In her remark, the Director of the Orphanage, Hajiya Ummul Ismaila Agwaru thank the student leadership for their support and encouragement, saying that this is the first time the orphanage receive student leaders.

 She also used the opportunity to call on Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU to call off their indefinite strike in the interest of fairness and students whom are worse hit by the strike.

 

She called on other Unions to emulate the gesture shown by the students leader, while wishing the leadership of the union a successful tenure.
