Project 35 Group Visits Zing, Canvases Support For Kefas Agbu, Taraba PDP

   A non-religious and nonprofit making organization made up of articulated young men and women who want to lay the right principles for the continues dominance of  Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Taraba state, Project 35  has visited Zing Local Government Area of the state to canvas support for PDP Governorship candidates, Lt Col. Kefas Agbu rtd ahead of next election.  

 

Speaking during the advocacy visit,  Chairman of the group, Hon Abubakar Inuwa popularly known as Garba Pele said they were in the area to sensitized the people on the qualities, capacity and the integrity as well as the ability,vision and zeal to deliver on the dividends of democracy by all the PDP candidates contesting in the 2023 general election.

 

Addressing former councilors and other politicians, he said they were targeted based on their closeness to the grassroots where the bulk of voters come from and the important role they have been undertaking for the progress of the party in the state.

 

However, commended the people of Zing local government area for their loyalty and support tasking them not to allow any politician to bring any division among them because power comes from God.

 

Also Speaking, the PDP Deputy Governorship candidate, Alh Aminu Alkali who hails from Zing local government area, lauded the group for recognizing the important role of the electorates especially those at the grassroots by targeting their former representatives, assuring that since inception of the present democratic dispensation, the local government area has been PDP and will continue to be for the party.

 

 

The Commissioner for Rural Development Hon Kallamu Alhamdu, Zing Local Government PDP Chairman, Hon Justice Yari, former councilors among others all threw their weight behind the group's positive move, giving assurance that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring that PDP remains the dominate party in the area and the state.

During a  visit to religious leaders in  Zing local government area,  Secretary of the group Prince Gara Soyonga Nongha commended the two religious bodies for the peaceful and cordial relationship existing among their followers in the area, appealing to them to avoid politicians who are using religion for their selfish interest.

The religious leaders thanked them for the visit and promise to always maintain the harmony that bind them together appealing to politicians to always ensure they play their game according to the rules especially when it comes to religious matters.

 

 

Project 35 for Peoples Democratic Party PDP refers to the Presidential aspirant, governorship flag bearer, 3 Senatorial aspirant, 6 members of Representatives aspirant and 24 members of the State House of Assembly aspirants, whose motto is securing a better tomorrow with a mission statement to reach out to the general public most especially those at the grassroots on the need for them to continue to support the PDP and elect the party candidates in all the 35 elective positions during the 2023 general elections.
