Mammoth Crowd Receives Kefas Agbu in Jalingo






Hundreds of supporters and members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were at Danbaba Suntai Airport Jalingo on Saturday to welcome the party's gubernatorial flag bearer Lieutenant Colonel Kefas Dantala Agbu, retired.

 

Kefas Agbu returned from Abuja where he received his certificate as the flag bearer of the PDP to contest the 2023 governorship election in Taraba State.

 

He was received at the airport amidst jubilation, cultural dances from different dance troops and praise singers in jalingo.

 

 Supporters from within and outside Jalingo turned out in their numbers to show solidarity and support for him.

 

Lt. Col. Kefas Agbu (Rtd), however urged supporters to remain calm, prayerful, steadfast, and peaceful to prepare a good ground for the party to retain its victorious position in the 2023 general elections.

 

According to the PDP governorship candidate, he is for the people and will serve them as well as ensure that what belongs to them is given to them.

 

Meanwhile, he, however, pledged to unite all aggrieved members of the party and bring everyone together ahead of the 2023 general elections to enable the PDP to retain power in the state.

" I am ever ready to work hand in hand with everyone as Taraba State belongs to all of us. It is the duty of each and everyone of us to jealously guard the state and it's interest", he added.

 

The PDP governorship candidate thanked everyone who turned out to welcome him and wish them journey mercies back to their various destinations.
