Amidst Confusions, Abubakar Barde Wins APC Ticket For Takum, Ussa, Donga, Yangtu Federal Constituency With 28,002 Votes

Hon. Abubakar Danladi Umar (Barde) has been declared as Winner of the direct primary election of the Donga, Takum, Ussa and Yangtu Federal Constituency  under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

The result of the election as declared by the returning officer, Yusuf Audu Ibrahim on Friday, shows that Abubakar Danladi Umar (Barde)  won with the total votes of 28,002 while his contenders Alexander Mamchika Atta got 6321, Murtala Garba got 6014, Mark Useni Bako had 4468 and Charity Green Onosiore pulled 2302.

Responding to his victory, Hon. Abubakar Danladi Umar appreciated his campaign team, leadership of the All Progressive Congress, APC,  and his family who gave him the springboard upon which his journey began. He described his victory as a honour and humbling experience.

"I am profoundly grateful to God for the gift of a people so resolute in their pursuit of meaningful and sustainable development. I extend my gratitude to those who casted their votes that made this victory possible and those who didn't vote for me, I will not to take this opportunity for granted", he said.

Hon. Barde however, called on his supporters and party members not to relent in galvanizing votes for the party in the 2023 general election. 

"The sojourn continues and just as we made this victory happen, by the grace of God the journey continues unto the Green chamber at the 10th assembly", he added.
