30 People Killed in Kwentwen Village in Ussa

Thirty people have been killed in a fresh attacked at Kwentwen village under Kpambo ward Ussa Local Government Area.

 

The chairman of Ussa Local Government Council Rimamsikwe Hassan Karma confirmed this to our correspondent said investigation is ongoing to find the course of the unfortunate events.

 

The chairman disclosed that the attackers came in the midnight of Sunday going door by door and slaughtered any person they came across.

 

Rimamsikwe Hassan Karma calls on the government and well meaningful Tarabans to come to the aid of the people.

 

He said security personnel have been deployed to the area in order to curtail the unfortunate situation.

 

The Kwentwen village is a boarder community between the Acha Nyim in Takum Local Government and Yangtu Special Development Area.

 

The leader of the Miyetti Alah Cattle Breeders Association Nigeria in the area Yau Ibrahim Baraya denied allegation that Fulani's herdsmen were responsible for the incident, saying investigation is ongoing to find the people responsible.
