I Was Not Invited By DSS, Visited In My Own Volition- Taraba CAN Chairman

The Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Taraba State chapter Rev Dr Isaiah Magaji Jirapye has denied earlier report that he was invited and questioned by the DSS over recent statements credited to CAN.

 Jirapye in a message to Taraba Truth and Facts said he had visited the Taraba State Command of the DSS to visit the Director newly posted to the state. 

He said report that he was invited and questioned was not true representation of his visit to the DSS

"Your report is not a true representation of what happened. I notify the director last week of my plan to see him yesterday, and that was just what I did

I went to the office, greeted him and told him why I was there to see, apologised to him for coming there later than I should because I travelled out of the country when he came.

" I received good comments about how good he had been good to people and by way of encouragement he explained how we should continue to work towards peace as religious leaders and I opened up to talk about the issues happening in the state and told him that I have decided to hold my peace, not to continue to exchange words with anyone again because I love peace in my state wouldn't want to be used to start any type of conflict.

" I still repeat that I was not invited there by anyone please," Rev Dr Isaiah Magaji Jirapye said.
