ALHAJI MUKHTAR GALADIMA: IN ADMIRATION OF YOUR NEW CAP

On behalf of the Bagya Royal family of Wukari, I celebrate our exceptional brother Alhaji Mukhtar Galadima on his conferment as Member, National Institute (mni) and graduation ceremony at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies Kuru

Ascending such an enviable point in one's life and career is an uncommon success story. It is one focal reason that many wish to associate with a goal oriented kinsman whose strides we all admire.

Born to the Late Galadiman Ibi, Mallam Hassan Galadima and Gimbiya Jummai Rukaiya Galadima daughter of Late Aku-Uka Agbumanu Atoshi IV (1945-1960), Alhaji Mukhtar Galadima MNI, MITP MNIPM was raised in Ibi, a popular river side community in Taraba state.

He attended Government College Katsina-Ala, Benue State, and proceeded to Kaduna Polytechnic , where He studied  Urban and regional planning. His quest for further studies took him Benue State University Makurdi for his post graduate studies from where he pursued further education outside the shores of Nigeria.

As staff the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), he rose to become the Director Development Control (FCDA). He push for excellence through hard work earned him admiration of his employer's and the public particularly his firmness to constitutional order.

Under his watch, development control in the FCT witnessed an era of compliance to Abuja master plan, publicly known for not compromising extent standards; his track reputation along with best practices no doubt earned him membership of The Institute of Town Planners and also member Institute Of Project Management.

His nomination and later graduation in the 43rd Senior Executive Course of the National institute for policy and strategic studies (NIPSS) 2021, has set him on a pedestal making him another pride from the ancient Kwararafa Kingdom. Certainly, gold fish has no hiding place as the saying goes.

He is a recipient of multiple awards as well a  traditional title holder of various kingdoms such as, Makaman Katsina-Ala, Talban Gassol, Sarkin Kudun Jimeta, Dan Iyan Ando-Idi and Dan Malikin Ibi.

Galadima is well traveled and has been to about 25 countries.

The Bagya Royal Family in Wukari remains proud of the maternal link with Alhaji Muktar and all he stands for. He has been a backbone of sorts, providing support and succor to as many as he can and is never tired of opening his doors to his kinsmen.

It is in relation to this that he received an award by His Majesty, the late Aku Uka, Dr Shekarau Angyu Masa-Ibi, Kuvyo II for exceptional commitments to aiding the family and others.

A similar award went to him from the Bagya Royal Family Forum in recognition of his humanitarian acts. The family thus deeply feel this recognition and elevation as their own and desire greater placement for him.

Alhaji Mukhtar Galadima is a role model  for the younger generation in terms of exemplary citizenship and holding trust in public office and affairs.

While again saying a big congratulations on this feat, at this time, I ride on the cliché of 'whom the cap fits, let him wear it'.

Prince Jolly Agbu Masa Ibi

For the Bagya Royal family of Wukari.
