Sansani Chiefdom Drags Lamdo Gassol to Gov. Ishaku


 

 



Members of the Sansani Chiefdom in Gassol Local Government has dragged the Lamdo of Gassol Alhaji Idris Chiroma Yakubuo Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku accusing him of unlawfully interfering the activities of its Chiefdom.

 

 

Presenting a protest letter to the member representing Gassol one constituency in the state House of Assembly, Hon Abas Umar Kaura for onward presentation to the governor, members of the Sansani Chiefdom that since the inception of Sansani chiefdom the people of Gassol chiefdom were not happy with the creation and ensuring that peace does not reign in the chiefdom and causing insecurity in the area.

Presenting the letter, Yusuf Salihu Sansani noted that some village heads still takes instructions from Lamdo Gassol because of intrusion thereby causing confusion in the area.

He decried the high rate of insecurity caused by interference by indigence of Gassol chiefdom.  

 

The letter states that the suspension of the Jankada Sansani was caused by the negative involvement of Lamdo Gassol and some stakeholders in Gassol Chiefdom.

The letter appealed to the governor of the state Darius Dickson Ishaku to come to the aid of the people of Sansani chiefdom and bring succor by stopping the people of Gassol from interfering in the affairs of Sansani chiefdom. 

It appealed to the state government to bring out a white paper on the boundaries of all chiefdoms and gazette them which will bring peace not only to Sansani but the entire state. 

 

 Kura on his part however called on the people Sansani Chiefdom to live in peace with one another for development to thrive in the area.

He called on the people of Gassol one constituency to pray fervently for leaders to lead the people in the fear of God.

He called on youths in the area to be united and be peaceful at all times, noting that the people of Sansani came to the right channel to air out their grievances.
