According to him, the beans is at a 'demo' stage in NGADA which by next year will be available for circulation to other parts of the state with favorable soil where it will yield well for further multiplication so as to have it in our markets within and outside the state.
He said the new beans is highly nutritious to soyabeans and other related beans. "The beans being so nutritious can be eaten when cooked alone, cooked as soup, cooked mixed with other grains etc. The beans can also be eaten by malnourished children so as to recover faster. Some companies are in high demand for the beans in Nigeria. With the beans, children and people who have challenges of malnutrition can get succor. NGADA is naturally blessed with fertile land that can be used for the cultivation of different types of crops and we are tapping into these for our people."
