‘Bang Community Will Produce Taraba Governor Soon’, Amb. Njiwah

The Mbondua of Mbamnga Chiefdom,  Ambassador Emmanuel  Njiwah has said very soon one among his subject from Bang will one day emerge governor of Taraba State.

 

Ambassador Njiwah speaking at the annual Bang Cultural Development Association (BCDA) Cultural Day celebration which took place recently at the National Head Quarters of BCDA in Bang-Fihm, said his prayer is to see somebody from Mbamnga Chiefdom becomes the state governor.

 

"My prayer is that during his life time as the Mbondua somebody from Mbamnga Chiefdom becomes the President of Nigeria and as well somebody from Mbamnga does not only contest for governorship like I  did in the past but win and become the Governor of Taraba State during my life time," Ambassador Njiwah said.

Ambassador Njiwah admonished all sons and daughters of Mbamnga Chiefdom to remain Loyal to the Government so that when it's their turn others will be loyal to them too.

 

Ambassador Njiwah also encourages other Chiefdoms on the Mambilla Plateau to have bilateral relationship with the Mbamnga Chiefdom, stressing the needs to take away politics from traditional rulerships.

"When you interfere politics with traditional rulership, you bring crisis and our Governor stresses peace more than anything else. For peace to reign, take away politics from traditional rulership then that peace the Governor deserve will be used to bring the development we need"

 

Ambassador Njiwah strongly warned all traditional rulers in Mbamnga Chiefdom to stop participating in politics, "do not discriminate people on the bases of politics because you are a father to all. With that, development will come to us."

 

Also speaking at the event a former Speaker and member representing Mbamnga Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Abel Peter Diah said the people will always support government, noting that his people are more interested in development than chaos.

 

 

"We want to assure you that we will give government all the necessary support within the ambit of the law so as attract developments needed in Mbamnga Constituency. It's not in our character from Mbamnga Constituency to disobey government, we are obedient citizens and we will continue to remain supportive to government both at the state and federal level.

"We don't intend to suffer our people any heartache, we do not also intend to go into anything that will be counterproductive to peace and development  particularly in Mbamnga Constituency"

 

The former Speaker however applauded the member Representing Gashaka Kurmi and Sardauna Federal Constituency Hon. David Fouh for commencing the construction of   a modern clinic in Bang-Fihm .

In his remarks, the PDP National Vice Chairman Northeast and BCDA leader  Barr G.T Kataps assured that Bang Community is not divided.

"your Excellency, your Royal Highness, Bang is not divided sir, I want to assure you. We are intact and we are complete. Anybody that want to challenge us can come here Sir, may you live Long"
