AFAN Appoints Saadu Sintali Taraba State Chairman
The National Executives of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria AFAN has appointed Alhaji Saadu Usman Sintali as its Chairman Taraba State Caretaker Committee to manage the affairs of the farmers in the state.
AFAN in a letter signed by its National Secretary, Alhaji Yunusa Halidu Yabwa said the Taraba State Caretaker Committee headed by Alhaji Sintali is given two years to reposition the group in the state.
The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) is the apex of all farmers, commodity associations, Cooperative and other bodies involved in Agriculture and agro allied matters in Nigeria.
Alhaji Sintali said his Committee would revive the Association to benefit millions of farmers in Taraba State inline with its vision of empowering the nation through agriculture.
Calling on more farmers to embrace the Association, Alhaji Sintali said AFAN in Taraba state would protect interest of all farmers and ensure they benefit from government programmes and packages meant for farmers.
He however appealed to youths in the state to embrace agriculture and use it as a means of creating massive employment noting that the association is ready to assist youths willing to go into agriculture in the state.
