Kpant Zing urges subjects to sustain peace




The Kpant Zing, Alhaji Suleiman  Ibrahim Sambo, has commended his subjects  for living in
harmony with one another and urged them to sustain the peaceful co-existence among all  the people in the area. The Kpant Zing, a first class traditional ruler in Taraba state, expressed happiness over peaceful atmosphere in the chiefdom while addressing his subjects at his palace in Zing
 He also commended people in the chiefdom for their  support to his peace agenda adding that peace is a basic ingredient for development . The Monarch said peace being enjoy in the chiefdom was as a result of people’s resolve to live in peace harmony with one another and urged them to sustain the good understanding among themselves. The Kpanti Zing also expressed satisfaction with cordial relationship between farmers and pastoralists in his domain. He said the two groups are living in harmony in the domain and urged them to sustain it. Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim Sambo advised his subjects not to take the law into their hands but always report any misunderstanding between them to security agents. He assured them of Taraba state government’s effort to protect  the lives and properties of the people. The traditional ruler said the people have a duty to report any suspicious movement of persons in the area. He  said it was only when people are vigilant that criminals elements would not hide and commit crimes in the area. The Kpanti Zing, also commended security agents in his chiefdom for the good work they are doing which he said contributed in maintaining peace and order in the area. He urged parents to monitor activities of their children and wards in order to ensure they do not get involved in crimes and other vices. He said youths are valuable assets to the nation and they should be guided properly so that they could become good leaders. Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim Sambo also urged parents to ensure that their children acquire good education, adding that no amount of investment in child education is too much.
